Gravesend and Northfleet FC: 100 Greats

Gravesend & Northfleet celebrated its 60th Anniversary in August 2006. This book documents the sixty-year history of the club in a series of team photographs, action shots, player portraits, old programmes, press reports and other ephemera.

It explores, for the first time, the stories of Northfleet United and Gravesend United, the original clubs who insisted on staying separate for so long, paying particular attention to the connection with the mighty Tottenham Hotspur that saw so many future stars turn out for the Fleet.

Now, for the first time since 1962, the club have a group of full-time professionals and look ready to take the next step – promotion to the Football League. This book allows the reader to look back at the players and matches of yesteryear and also provides a lasting record of the club as it is today.
