Goodbye Strong Heart

Natalie Strawn is an introspective, conscientious registered nurse. She has been deeply disappointed in attempts to find true love, but puts the welfare of her two children, both abandoned by their fathers, as priority over finding romantic love.Disagreements with her employer in an elder care facility over end-of-life care cause her career to take a downward spiral.After losing her career without fighting for her rights due to depression, and launching her last dependent child to college, she is left with underemployment, no home ownership, one cat, and Facebook. She reconnects with some old friends from high school and finds that one of her most cherished, Zeke, has suffered a debilitating stroke. She is divided over her feelings for him and those of his friends and family who believe he should be "let go" rather than live with severe disability. This first novel has a contemporary social problem theme, with mature adult content.
