A funny and often disturbing look back at growing up during the 60's and 70's in a small upstate NY city that had left its best days behind. Religion, drugs, alcohol, and abuse are navigated through a near total lack of direction from a frustrated mother and an often hilariously irresponsible father.Through it all, the author bounces around his early years, confused and usually off the wall, always hoping for better things to come.
