God's Other Mistakes

January 20th 2008 - President Elect Alexander Douglas stands on stage at his inauguration about to change the world forever. Immediately after taking the oath of office he reveals his family's deepest secret: they are aliens from the planet Alterra. Due to a misunderstanding his parents were granted citizenship before he was born making him legally eligible to hold office despite his otherworldly origins. What follows is laid out in a series of short stories as the Earth copes with the knowledge aliens are not only real but also among them.
