Godlyman and the Skateboard Rider tells about a journey a troubled misguided youth named Paul experiences. He has a real problem with authority. He is hurt because he longs for a close relationship with his real dad Mike. On the other end, his step-dad Ted loves Paul, but expects more out of him. Paul dreams of becoming a skateboard pro. He meets his Pro idol who's story of meeting Godlyman sends Paul on a new path that he doesn't expect. Godlyman goes by the name of Anthony Sharp. Godlyman was granted the Power of God by God himself. Anthony Sharp resides in the Hands of Prayer Complex which he created from his own means. Godlyman is on a mission to deliver the word of God and solve problems caused by evil forces. Pastor Scotty Sykes wrote the book and developed the characters in it.
