God Listens to Christian Prayers: True stories of prayers answered and lives changed

The Bible gives us story after story of how God helps those who ask for His help and how He either ignores or thwarts the efforts of those who go their own way. He expects us to consult Him on every issue, big or small. That is frequently difficult for us to do in this fast-paced world. God says, "Be still and know that I am God," in verse 10 of Psalm 46. Stopping and talking to God is a challenge for all of us. Yet most, if not all, of the contributors to this book find time to talk to God often.
