For two kids growing up in an unusually dusty town in the Florida panhandle, baseball is everything. Cass Reynolds will stop at nothing to play the game. But the relentless drive that made her a Little League phenom might not be enough as the years go by, forcing her dream more and more out of her reach. Lit Grady has the raw talent, the instincts, and the resources to actually make it to the big leagues until tragedy strikes and he finds himself unable to get out of his own way.
