This introduction to Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning by Gerry Stahl, Tim Koschmann and Dan Suthers is perhaps the most cited paper in CSCL. An updated version from 2020 is included here. It is accompanied by translations of the original version into Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Romanian and German.
