Geography & Ethnic Pluralism (1984) examines the debate around pluralism – the segmentation of population by race and culture – as a social and state issue, and explores this issue in Third World and metropolitan contexts. Smith and by exploring the significance of racial and cultural diversity in colonial, post-colonial and metropolitan situations.
