No good deed goes unpunished. Dr. Chase Madden is threatened, cussed out, beaten up and shot while volunteering at a clinic serving the indigent and poor members of the area. Her interest in treating the whole person, not just body parts, prompts her to host a talk show entitled "Healthy Mind / Healthy Body" which quickly becomes a popular and is widely syndicated.After she exposes a presidential candidate as a pedophile, the violence against her increases. She wonders if there is anything she can do to lessen the violence. Then she befriends a trans-generational epigeneticist and begins to wonder if she will survive the experience.
