Genetic engineering

This study analyzes the therapeutic purpose of genetic manipulation in human embryos under the aegis of the principle of human dignity, the fundamental right to life, freedom of scientific expression, free family planning and health. Furthermore, this discussion is also concerned with portraying the role of the judiciary in cases in which the legitimacy of new concepts regarding the application of principles and rights to specific cases is discussed.
