Atomic energy, also called nuclear energy, is one of the branches of the atom that produces energy in large quantities through processes that affect the nucleus of the atom, or the dense nuclei of atoms. Atomic energy also differs from the energy produced by other chemical phenomena, such as various chemical reactions that take place through the use of electrons that are found in the orbits of the atom.
