Frequencies

The collection "Hesitations" by Mina Naji reflects personal and social questions by tracing a common thread between her six stories, which is the state of "hesitation", which appears in the form of obsessions and excessive thinking among its heroes.These heroes represent, as one of the meanings of the title indicates, different wave ''frequencies'' in one human environment, which is the contemporary city of Cairo, in which they interact with what is around them through unusual decisions. The author of the novels "City of the Sun" (2020) and "Without Wings" returns ( 2016), and the collection "The Grasshopper Playing Free in the Streets of Cairo" (2013), for ''Hesitate'' on Topics constitute the basic elements of his works, such as the theme of ''love'', ''human relations'', ''psychological and existential suffering'', and ''dreams''.
