'Frankenstein' in Turkey

Frankenstein in Turkey: Transnational Adaptations, Vernacular Gothic, and Visual Culture analyzes Turkish transnational adaptations of Shelley's Frankenstein by including the "Other" side in the Western oriented scholarship of the afterlife of the story to show how the Western canon is recontextualized and Turkified to interrogate the social, cultural, and political anxieties of the nation.
