Forward!: Popular Theory & Practice

FORWARD is dedicated to establishing a space for discussion of the essential questions of today's revolutionary socialism. We seek to publish rigorous analysis of current events, practical lessons of everyday political activity, and new developments in socialist theory. In the process, we aim to arm our readers with a radical understanding that furthers the liberation struggles of all working and oppressed peoples. History has shown socialism to be the only successful path toward human liberation, with a proven record of ending poverty and improving people's livelihoods. Socialists have been at the forefront of every movement against exploitation and oppression, from the earliest attempts at workers' power, to the anti-colonial revolutions in Asia, Africa and the Americas, to the struggle for women's and LGBTQ liberation. Now, the need for a consistent, unapologetic socialist position has never been more important. We believe our duty as revolutionaries is to seek the greatest possible development of socialist practice. That is, to change the real world. We hope that through sincere effort and collaboration, FORWARD will be a principled source for readers, and a rallying point for revolutionary socialists throughout the world to express a unified voice.
