Fortune

Ty Fortune is sentenced to ten years of hard labor at the age of 14 for his part in a bank robbery. Eight years later, in 1882, he is released for good behavior. He is befriended by an older man, Roy Olson, who is a retired professional poker player. Because of Ty's excellent memory, Ty is able to easily absorb all there is to know about honestly playing poker and he puts that knowledge to work.
