Formal Ethics Opinions

A vital resource for all lawyers, this book is a collection of published ethics opinions from the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility issued from 2013-2023. Founded in 1908, the ABA's Ethics Committee has focused its efforts on the development of model national ethics standards for lawyers and the judiciary. Since 1922 the committee has issued Formal Ethics Opinions interpreting and applying those standards. This collection contains 47 opinions (462-508) and includes discussion of the application of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct in regard to a variety of topics.
