FireForce employs the technique of parody not humorously, but as an investigative and illustrative means of identifying, exploring, and extrapolating the emotional, social, and political personalities, issues, and principles which combined to give George Lucas' 1977 Star Wars its unique magnetism.

In FireForce the characters, scenes, and dialogue are all subtly distinct from the original, yet developed in directions and dimensions beyond the limits of the film medium.

In an Appendix the same investigative parody technique is applied to Lucas' other immortal creation, Indiana Jones.
