The Southern California fi res of 2025, were said to be causedby heavy winds and lack of precipitation over a period of time. American media thundered out its agreement that the horrendousfi res were the result of climatic conditions. But in their haste tofi ll the electronic airways with the repeated and well-programedcauses, something was overlooked---the human element of goodversus evil. A young Caucasian federal marshal, and his onetimefellow college student, a beautiful black-American female,become embroiled in a plot by two amateur arsonists---Fire Flyand Lightning Bug. Seemingly by chance, these four unlikelyplayers dance across the Nation to an interesting conclusion forall parties in the game of cat and mouse.
