Finding Gold Amongst the Shit - Paradise in 2017

I started 2017 with high hopes and so much positivity. My aim was to document the positives during the year, the small positives that in our busy lives so often get overlooked. In one way the year was a build up to my climb of Kilimanjaro in September which the "HR Manager's Tale" records. However the reality soon came to be that there was so much more happening during the year, a lot of which challenged my ability to find the gold amongst the shit. But find it I did, and I persevered with this project despite the problems and negativity I saw for others and felt in myself. To me this made this year long project even more worthwhile and even more real.
