Stephen is a contract scientist for BigDataCorp. During a clandestine experiment he observes that the gamification of work unleashes a self-destructive behavior which threatens humanity. Meanwhile, Jodi has a chance encounter with a mind reading squirrel possessing the wisdom of the ages. Even as they build ever more sophisicated information technologies, their world is getting increasingly bizarre. Is this random happenstance or is there a connection?
