The individual appropriation of dogmatical topoi is based on a complex hermeneutic dynamic, which this study examines as figurations. Using the example of Medea and following Philipp Melanchthon's works, the book demonstrates the connection between figurations as appropriation processes in the mode of mediopassivity from a systematic theological perspective.
