"Fifty Years in the Magic Circle" is an Signor Blitz's 1871 autobiography. Signor Blitz (1810 - 1877) was a British magician and performer. He first started performing at the early age of thirteen, his performances quickly becoming known for their incorporation of humour. He died in his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania six years after writing this book.
