It isn't quite the homecoming Rina Kochar envisioned when she returns for her father Sameer Kochar's funeral after a long estrangement. Rina the prodigal daughter is flummoxed to learn her father has appointed a detective D'Mello to investigate his death because he suspected someone of trying to kill him. As D'Mello begins his investigation, skeletons begin to pop out. One by one. With each revelation a different facet of Sameer Kochar is revealed. Who was Sameer Kochar? Benefactor? Genius? Killer? Worshipped by some. Hated by many. Then D'Mello is found floating in the koi pond in the Kochar residence. Very dead. With the heat on her family Rina has to look for the truth.
