Felicia and the Birds

Felicia lives on an island in the sea. When she grows up, she wants to follow the birds, her best friends, out in the world. One morning Felicia hears a desperate peeping. A siskin has got stuck in a net. She carefully frees it. But why does it lie motionless when she holds it in her hand? Is it dead? "I'm sorry, I only wanted to help you", Felicia whispers. Somebody on the island wants to hurt the birds. But who? And why? Felicia seeks assistance from a mysterious doctor and together they fight for the freedom of the birds. But not even the King or the Pope is on their side ...

Felicia and the Birds is a story about the importance of showing respect for nature and how the stronger must support the weaker.
