Federalist Papers

Originally published in May 1788, 'The Federalist Papers' is a series of letters to New York newspapers prompting voters to ratify the proposed Constitution of the United States by Alexander Hamilton, an American statesman, who was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He was an influential interpreter and promoter of the U.S. Constitution, as well as the founder of the nation's financial system, the Federalist Party, the United States Coast Guard, and the New York Post newspaper.Still hotly discussed and open to often controversial interpretations, the arguments first introduced here by three of America's greatest patriots and political theorists were created during a critical moment in our nation's history, providing readers with a running ideological commentary on the critical issues facing democracy.
