Fathers and Children

Fathers and Sons also translated more literally as Fathers and Children, is an 1862 novel by Ivan Turgenev, published in Moscow. It is one of the most acclaimed Russian novels of the 19th century.The novel is accompanied by a rich selection of Turgenev's letters that illustrate his involvement in the critical controversy that surrounded the publication of Fathers and Children.
