Eylenda

The crackling of ice far within the earth, like a deep humming, rumbling in my chest, breaking through my hair, my skin, my bones themselves shake. She grips upon my heart and pulls and pushes, sending me back into playful mounds of moss, clumps of wise snow, and the depths of her unforgiving sea.
