Experimental Techniques in Mineral and Rock Physics

Laboratory data for the physical minerals are critical in resolving many global geophysics. These experimental properties of rocks and fundamental problems of studies require careful and precise measurements under well-controlled and well-characterized conditions of pressure, temperature, oxygen fugacity, etc. Such experiments were the hallmark of the research career of Edward Schreiber. This volume is dedicated to his memory and contains papers which report state-of-the-art technological developments in the field of mineral and rock physics.
