Experimental Investigation on Characteristics of PMC'S

This book presents the research work to fabricate the epoxy based hybrid composites reinforced with E-glass fiber and filled with rice husks Ash (RHA) an industrial bio waste by manual hand layup process and the mechanical properties like tensile strength and Vickers Micro Hardness, Moisture absorption rate and thermal stability of glass fiber reinforced epoxy based hybrid composites are evaluated by various characterization equipments. The effects of E-glass fiber loading and Rice Husk Ash (RHA) on weight percentages evaluated properties are studied and the reasons for increase or decrease in the properties are determined.
