Exiles of the Gods

Upon completing his translation of Leto's memoir, Pope Peter II (Pedro to his friends) found himself transported to meet Leto in her time to receive the power that had allowed her to create an empire. When he is returned to his own time, he receives an urgent message from Duniani, the virtual being created to be the spiritual guide for all mankind. She is taken prisoner and incarcerated in the spiritual world and the Inauditis are missing. Pedro must renounce his beliefs to bring her back with him if they are to complete their mission to save mankind from destruction.With the world under the domination of an unknown assailant, Pedro turns to the only people he can trust and, with their assistance and the help of unexpected allies, he and Duniani learn how to control the unfathomable power at their command. With attempts on their lives becoming more violent, they recognize the enormity of the task that has been put on them. Pedro finds his mind and his faith in God and the Catholic Church challenged as he is spiritually remolded into the savior of mankind by something he cannot comprehend.
