Evolution of Evaluation Methods of Foreign Language Academic Journals and Its Influence on the Selection Work

Foreign language academic journals are literature resources with high academic value and utilization value, with a large number of publications and relatively high subscription prices. Domestic and foreign literature and information agencies need to formulate scientific and reasonable selection policies to select the most suitable foreign language academic journals for their own needs under limited funding conditions. This book takes the development process of foreign language academic journals and the evolution process of foreign language academic journal evaluation as the context. It analyzes the evaluation methods of foreign language academic journals in each development period, the characteristics and limitations of their application, and the relationship between the evaluation of foreign language academic journals and the development of library collections.
