Events Leading Up to the American Revolution

John Adams once wrote, in a letter dated February 13, 1818 to Hezekiah Niles, "But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was affected be-fore the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people." This Book hopes to show that the American Revolution (War for Independence) indeed did begin long before The Declaration of Independence was written, and before the first shots of war rang out.
