Eustacia Croak comes from Witchbrook Village, which lies on dark side of Middleground Woods.She escapes to the other side, and transforms her crone like appearance to one of beauty. When she finds a husband she lives in terror that one day he might find out what she really is, and when strange things start to happen, she fears that her relatives from Witchbrook might be out to cause trouble.
