Euro-Par’ 99 Parallel Processing

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th International Euro-Par Conference on Parallel Processing, Euro-Par'99, held in Toulouse, France in August/September 1999. The book presents six invited papers, four distinguished papers, 111 regular papers, and 73 short papers by more than 550 contributing authors. These papers were selected out of a total of 343 submissions with the help of more than 400 reviewers and program committee members. The papers are organized in topical sections in accordance with the 23 tracks of the conference. The volume presents a wealth of state-of-the-art R & D results addressing all current aspects in parallel processing.
