Entrelac Hat for Newborns Knitting Pattern

Make the cutest, the prettiest and the most unique newborn hat! The pattern comes in newborn size only. It is meant to fit the baby for the first two weeks. It makes a great coming home from the hospital outfit, and it also is the size that is preferred by newborn photographers. Entrelac knitting is explained step by step in the pattern. The samples were made using Cascade Superwash 220 and 4.5mm / US7 needles, Baby Hugs Light and 5mm / US8 needles, Brocco Pima 100 and 4mm needles. You will need: yarn (up 50 grams), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (please make a gauge swatch! this pattern's gauge is 20 sts in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch), darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the back of the hat. The hat is knit flat.
