Engraved on Stone - Readings into a Lost Culture

In this small book there are various brief readings in a completely Gnostic era, of which only scattered references remain in which Gnosticism formed the cultural background for both intellectual, philosophical, scientific and religious schools of thought. This is the era that covers the period extending between the Parthian era and preceding the Sassanian era in Iraq. We aimed to restore some of the cultural aspects of this Gnostic and Hellenistic era, and to piece together its shattered image by examining the extent to which the images drawn from the inscriptions of this era on the walls and the remains of buildings match the images preserved in the translation of the book "Nabataean Farming." We did not pay much attention to analyzing his ideas critically. From the fragments of inscriptions and scattered writings from this era, it appears that Hellenism was an inciting motive for greater openness, pluralism, renewal, and virtuous human morals.
