Engelchen und Teufelchen für Kinderrechte / Little angels and devils for the children´s rights: Rote Hand Aktion gegen den Einsatz von Kindersoldaten

Am 12. Februar fand zum 16. mal der internationale Tag der Roten Hand ("Red Hand Day") statt. Auch die Grund- und Mittelschule Neus als offizielle "Schule ohne Rassismus und mit Courage" beteiligte sich mit einer k nstlerischen Aktion daran. Die rote Hand ist das internationale Symbol gegen den Missbrauch von Kindern als Soldaten und - wenn man weiterdenkt - ein allgemeines Symbol gegen Krieg und Gewalt an Kindern. Stellvertretend f r die ganze Schule veranstalteten die Kinder der Klasse 3b der Grund- und Mittelschule Neus am 8.Februar eine Rote-Hand-Aktion. Der Lehrer und K nstler Tom Thomas Etzensperger hat alle Kinder auf einer L nge von fast 14 Metern als Engelchen und Teufelchen gezeichnet: "In jedem Menschen steckt ja etwas von beiden Seiten. Viele Kinder an der Schule kommen ja aktuell aus L ndern wie dem Irak, Afghanistan oder Syrien, in welchen Krieg herrscht und wo auch Kindersoldaten eingesetzt werden." On the 12th of February the International Red Hand Day took place for the 16th time. The elementary and middle school Neus as an official "school without racism and with courage" participated in it with an artistic action. The red hand is the international symbol against the abuse of children as soldiers. The children of the class 3b of the elementary and middle school Neus organized a red-hand-action on the 8th of February. The teacher and artist Tom Thomas Etzensperger has drawn all the children as little angels and at the same time as well as little devils: "Every human being has something of both sides. This is meant symbolically. The drawings are also to be understood as my personal esteem for the children. (Every child is important ) " The drawings were exhibited during the action in the music hall and then in the school's new auditorium, along with informations about children at war. Many children at the school currently come from countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria, where there is war and where child soldiers are used.
