Empowered by the Spirit

Gloria Barr Ford is her mother's 7th child among 4 living sisters and brothers. She started writing poetry at the age of 8, and believes that she has always been "e;Empowered by the Spirit"e;. She accepted Christ at an early age, even though she's had to learn many lessons the hard way, she finally returned to "e;the rock of her salvation"e;. An ordained itinerant elder and licensed evangelist, she's quick to let you know she loves the Lord. She's a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, playwright, storyteller, gospel singer, journalist, dramatist, radio minister and an administrative assistant at Coastal Carolina University. She has always wanted to write a book of poetry and a line of children's books, so her dream is coming true.
