El-Fahama

A smooth and simple reading in philosophy and the humanities written in colloquial Egyptian Arabic. In his book "Al-Fahama," writer Shehab Al-Khashab presents articles about philosophy, the popular phenomena associated with it, and the popular culture affected by it in a way that connects it to daily life and invalidates the idea that philosophy is a waste of time ("Don''t philosophize, brother..") or just a personal belief ("My philosophy in life is..." .), and that they are paradoxical theories that harm livelihood and morals. The writer believes that philosophers are immersed in the world of texts, far from daily reality, and use complex language and ambiguous sources, and the ambition of "the philosopher" is to re-explain them and explain their importance.
