Gawky and bullied teenager Echetlaeus spends all of his time dreaming about the heroes of Greek mythology and what it would be like to be one of them.

It is on one fateful day that his life changes forever. An encounter with the local bully sets off a series of explosive events, unravelling a web of mystery that reveals who Echetlaeus truly is.

At the same time, an army of hideous creatures tries to escape from the prison of Tartarus. Echetlaeus, with goddess Athena as guide and his friends by his side, must work to achieve seemingly impossible tasks.
