Bev Tappan is an ordinary woman who through tragedy, heartbreak, and illness, gathers the courage to leave a comfortable home and a good career in Alabama in order to find a new life in California--one filled with travel, adventure and, yes, true love. Determined to follow her dream to sail to the South Pacific, she buys a sailboat and moves aboard. She doesnt know who is following her, or why hed want to hurt her, but the menacing sailor in the sleek, black-hulled Raven seems to always be just a harbor or two behind her.
