Eastern music: its past, present, and future growth

Music is the language of the soul through which it communicates and attracts itself, and it is one of the greatest pretexts for purifying souls. If we ask scholars about music, they will answer us that it is the art of composing sounds in a way that stuns the ears, or they will tell us: it is the art of sounds and their connection to melody, weight, and harmony.If we ask poets, they will tell us: A musician organizes with sounds just as a poet organizes with letters. And if we ask psychological psychologists, they will answer us: It is a magical, enchanting force, and an art by which a person expresses his conscience and feeling with melodies that are more eloquent than speech, more eloquent than statement, and closer to the mind.Psychologists have agreed that speech is not sufficient to fully express feelings, and that only music can fill this deficiency.
