Eagle Eyes-the Development of Aerial Reconnaissance in the United States encompasses the amazing history of how the U.S. developed its most potent weapon, along with the aircraft, methods and tools that carried the load. Beginning with the start of the Civil War and the use of balloons as a method of finding out what the enemy was doing, aerial reconnaissance came into its own.
