Dynamite

DYNAMITE, an "explosive" novel, culminates when paths cross between Columbian terrorists, two ambivalent lovers on different sides of management, a disgruntled and desperate employee, six kidnapped children and their misunderstood father, three all-American refugees from Murderapolis, Minnesota, a lab technician who has cried "wolf" too many times and an accident prone truck driver who is delivering an overdue turbine to a small coal-powered plant in North Dakota. Here the lab tech has just discovered an unstable substance in a coal sample, presently on a conveyor belt and heading towards the boiler burners. Motives of vengeance, greed, escape, love, hate, and good intentions all slowly come together at North Dakota Power & Light Station, with a mixture that can't help but end with a "bang."
