Duels of the Flugel

To reverse his ruined fortunes, a high-born man commits to killing the giant avian menacing a kingdom's fleet. The creature, known as a flugel, stands over six feet and has intelligence exceeding any known birds, including the raven, possibly even a capacity for rudimentary culture. Though the flugel has survived all previous attempts on its life, this new pursuer has been gifted old knowledge of a vulnerable behaviour ritual, providing him an advantage like none before.
