Driver and His Wife

In 1928, young Joshua and his bride, Lena, look forward to living and workingon his fathers farm in the western North Carolina mountains. However, whenMr. Poole, powerful leader of Charlottes prohibition whiskey gang, off ers him ajob driving fast cars, Joshua cant resist. Despite her strong objection, Joshuasends Lena back to his farm to be cared for by his family. What she fi nds therecould hardly be more devastating and demanding of her courage.
