Dreamer on the Mountain

In 1855, a terrible massacre in Pine Valley drives the native people into exile. From their hiding place in the mountains, they dream of one day returning home.

Their stories enrapture Lucy Shoseegan, a young girl whose mother was killed in the massacre. She envisions their dream and longs to make it a reality. The settlers and townspeople inhabiting the region carry such a dream, as well. But it is a long and painful road nearly lost to the selfish desires of Edenville's youth.

It is May 1967 and Jim Hart has died. Sylvia Sumner's father was murdered and she leaves town. The newspaper office shuts down and Tucker Stewart's own father dies. Faced with the tumultuous change these series of events present, comes the opportunity to dream anew. It's time for Tucker to cooperate with his friends in realizing all their dreams. Yet the past casts a shadow across their lives, creating a passionate tale of betrayal and loss that will, ultimately, lead them home.
