Don't Dance on my Heart

Carlene Ledbetter, pregnant and alone, never plans to fall in love again. She moves to Florida hoping to secure a job with benefits, instead accepts an office position at a senior citizen condo where her aunt lives. Handsome narcotics agent John Santos breaks into her home to escape drug dealers and assures Carlene it is a one time meeting. Fate has different plans and John is drawn to Carlene and her new baby girl. After Carlene is attacked by a stalker, John flirts with her heart while trying to stay focused on solving crimes. Carlene, still anxious about her past, refuses to discuss a commitment. When an undercover operation goes bad and John is shot, Carlene realizes she loves him and can't exist without him in her life.
