Dominus: Locked Away

My family, my everything. My very need to survive. All my father wanted was for us to strive. He said he'd find us. I had no doubt he would. We ran then, while we still could. I thought we were safe inside our home's walls. Far, far away from Niagara Falls. When I let my guard down, their lives were put in danger. There was no telling if I could rescue them from his anger. My friends and I traveled through what felt like Hell. I could not promise their safety, yet they followed me still. We learned to control, then, the magic in our veins. However helpful, it may prove to be our bane.
